Panel Discussion

 Saja Walid Ashour, a researcher in the Department of Conservation Agriculture, delivered a panel discussion titled "Pesticides and Their Impact on the Sustainable Environment." She discussed the types of chemical pesticides commonly used in agriculture, their direct and indirect negative effects on soil, water, and biodiversity, and the challenges facing the safe use of pesticides in fragile environments.
