Implementing the Biogas Project

A team from the Desert Studies Center, led by Professor Saif Al-Din Abdul Razzaq Salem, has successfully implemented a biogas project aimed at utilizing the energy produced as a clean and alternative energy source. The project's by-products are also used as organic fertilizer, contributing to soil carbon enrichment, which plays a key role in carbon sequestration, mitigating the effects of climate change, and combating desertification.

The Center is actively working to expand this innovative design, developed with distinction by the Center's team, to rural communities in Anbar Governorate, accompanied by awareness campaigns to encourage its adoption and replication. The Center also plans to send teams of experts to relevant government institutions to support the adoption and implementation of this environmentally beneficial initiative.

With best wishes for success and a positive environmental impact.
