Conservation Agriculture Project in Desert Areas

As part of the key research projects led by the Center of Desert Studies, a field visit was conducted to collect random wheat samples from both conservation agriculture and conventional farming fields in the Amiriya- Fallujah area. The aim was to evaluate the productivity and determine the preferable method; This coincides with the wheat harvest dates for this season.

This project represents the first of its kind in Anbar governorate, adopted by the University of Anbar through the Center of Desert Studies, in collaboration with the Conservation Agriculture Project of the Iraqi Ministry of Agriculture.
